| The Li group’s research is on the study of electron field emission property of carbon nanotubes, bio-electrochemical properties of carbon nanotube based biosensors, carbon nanotube composites for lithium ion battery application, dye-sensitized and perovskite-based solar cells, and thermoelectric nanomaterials. 1.Synthesis and characterization of novel nanomaterials including semiconducting nanowires, nanotubes, and nanodots.
2. Study on electronic transport, optical and mechanical properties of low dimensional nanomaterials.
3. Applications of nanomaterials in structural and functional composites and in energy storage.
4. Application of nanoscience to biology and medicine.
5. Integration of MEMS technology, fabrication of nanoelectrodes and nanoelectronic devices.
