Utilizing the light from eight light emitting diodes, guided to the microscope by glass fibers and being switched synchronously with the camera exposure, domain images with orthogonal in-plane sensitivity can be displayed simultaneously at real-time, and images with pure in-plane or polar contrast can be obtained. The technique is shown to strongly enhance the sensitivity of Kerr microscopy by eliminating parasitic contrast contributions occurring in conventional setups.

报告人简介:  
Dr. Ivan Soldatov, got his Master degree on solid state physics from Ural State University, Russia, at 2009, and got PH.D on physics from Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research,Germanny, at 2016. Now he is a postdoctoral research fellow at Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research, Germany. Had had done very good work on the measurements of magnetic properties by Magneto-optical Kerr Microscopy and further development of this method.
