摘要:Chiral helimagnets have attracted increasing attention because of their unique spin textures, rich magnetic dynamics, and potential applications in next-generation spintronic devices. Accurately predicting helimagnetic properties from first-principles calculations remains challenging due to the complexity of noncollinear spin configurations and the exceptionally long magnetic periods, often extending to tens of nanometers. In this talk, I will present a first-principles framework for modeling and predicting monoaxial helimagnetic spin structures. Using Cr-intercalated transition-metal dichalcogenides as representative examples, I will demonstrate how key helimagnetic parameters, including the helical wavevector, magnetic period, and critical magnetic field, can be obtained from first-principles calculations. I will further discuss how this framework helps address several longstanding questions regarding helimagnetic spin structures and magnetic interactions.
