摘要:The P2 experiment at MESA and the MOLLER experiment at Jefferson Lab will measure the weak charges of the proton and electron with unprecedented precision. Because these weak charges are suppressed by \(1-4\sin^2\theta_W\), electroweak radiative corrections have an enhanced relative impact, making next-to-next-to-leading-order predictions essential.

In this seminar, I will present recent progress in two-loop electroweak calculations for parity-violating electron scattering. I will discuss the treatment of scale hierarchies, large electroweak logarithms, renormalization, and hadronic effects, including the \(\gamma Z\) box contribution in electronproton scattering. I will conclude with the remaining theoretical challenges for fully exploiting the precision and new-physics sensitivity of P2 and MOLLER.
